Before you submit an E-Consult

Do NOT submit an E-Consult request if you:

  • need a physical check-up (e.g., for a lump, hernia or rash)
  • want to speak to a GP directly (by phone or in person)
  • have a common illness a pharmacy can treat (including some conditions needing antibiotics). Self-refer to local pharmacy – Click here
  • need a service where you can refer yourself. Click here to see all local services available
  • want to see a physiotherapist for a muscle or joint problem – contact reception instead

You CAN submit an E-Consult request if you:

  • have an admin request (e.g., cancel an appointment or get test results)
  • need to extend a fitness note (first week covered by self-certification)
  • have a routine issue that can be solved by text (but we may ask you to book a call or visit if needed)

What happens after you submit an E-Consult request?

  • Send a text with a plan
  • Ask you to book a phone or in-person appointment for more details
  • Direct you to another service (e.g., A&E, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy)
