Part of the GP contract is to take part in the friends and family test.
NHS England collect feedback on whether you, as a patient, would recommend your GP surgery to your friends and family.
You can submit your feedback online by completing the NHS Friends and Family Test form. Alternatively, survey cards are available for completion at the surgery with a box to put them in.
You may also receive a text message once you have attended a GP appointment asking you a sequence of questions with a free text option to enter a comment. This will only happen every 90 days, so if you see a GP more than once in this period of time, you will only be surveyed once.
